The SVJ XperTune service prepares a calibration for the 6.5-litre V12 and its installed exhaust hardware. Standard pump-fuel and supported higher-octane configurations require the correct vehicle information. Fabspeed Motorsport, based in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, develops exhaust systems, air intakes and ECU tuning for sports cars including Porsche. Its development work uses dynamometer testing, road evaluation and racetrack testing.
Technical Details
- Manufacturer product reference: FS.LAM.AVRSVJ.ECU.
- ECU removal and shipment are required for bench programming.
- Provide the completed vehicle-information form, intended fuel and installed hardware.
- Fabspeed retains the original software; stock restoration and later file revisions may involve a fee.
- Confirm the control-unit version and service arrangements before removing the ECU.
- Fabspeed describes 92–93-octane pump-fuel development; discuss any different fuel specification before ordering.
Use restrictions
The calibration must retain required emissions controls. Fabspeed excludes requests to disable emissions equipment or its monitoring.
