Completely designed and manufactured in-house by our friends at Jenvey, the new Heritage IDA3 throttle bodies are a natural progression to their extremely successful DCOE Heritage Throttle bodies released in 2017. They have all the benefits of the Individual Throttle Bodies (ITBs) kits, yet marry these with the subtle, understated looks of a period correct carburetor induction set-up – ensuring that it won't look out of place in the engine compartment of our classic Porsches.
The advantages of modern, EFI systems are simply too hard (and too numerous) to ignore, with some of the key facets being a reliable, unbroken flow of air, extremely accurate control via advanced ECUs, easy starting in all seasons, and of course, more power and economy. The sole downside on a classic installation, up until now, has always been the aesthetic – something that the Jenvey Heritage Throttle bodies solves with their classic design and exquisite engineering.
The Jenvey Heritage IDA3 throttle bodies are available in 42mm and 45mm. All bodies include injectors, throttle position sensors and integrated fuel rails.
All Jenvey heritage products are compatible with E10 fuel (and up to E20 ). Moving to fuel injection will allow for easy and accurate air fuel ratio compensation and adjustment for any change in the future. - Just Do It.
