The 1958–1964 Beetle has no room for an aftermarket radio in the dash. This glove box replaces the stock one and has a built-in area to mount a stereo behind the door, out of sight.
It suits owners who want to keep the original dash unmodified, or who want the radio hidden from view when the car is parked.
