These bypass pipes replace the heavy side silencers of the Porsche 997.2 Carrera, producing a much more exposed exhaust note. They are suited to an owner deliberately choosing a large sound change rather than the quieter character of a muffled replacement. Based in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, Fabspeed Motorsport designs exhaust systems, air intakes and ECU tuning for Porsche and other sports cars. Dynamometer testing, road evaluation and racetrack development inform its product range.
