Product details
The Maxflo system replaces the two factory side mufflers on the Porsche 997.2 Carrera and can retain compatible original tips or use Fabspeed’s quad outlets. It is a muffled rear-exhaust choice with a deeper note and less weight than the original side silencers. Fabspeed Motorsport is based in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, where it develops exhaust, intake and ECU-tuning products for Porsche and other sports cars. Its development work includes dynamometer testing and evaluation on the road and racetrack.
Technical Details
- Manufacturer product family: FS.POR.9972.MAXX. The selected configuration determines the complete part number.
- Mandrel-bent 14–16-gauge T304L stainless construction.
- Fabspeed reports an 8 lb reduction versus the original components.
- Bolts in place of the factory side mufflers.
- For non-PSE cars, the remaining center muffler may limit the sound difference unless the center exhaust is also changed.
- Covered by the Fabspeed Lifetime Warranty, subject to its terms and exclusions.
