Product details
These Fabspeed Sport Headers replace the exhaust manifolds on the 1997–2004 Porsche 986 Boxster and Boxster S. The early version has no header-mounted catalysts; the 2000–2004 version incorporates HJS sport catalysts to match the later factory exhaust layout. Based in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, Fabspeed Motorsport designs exhaust systems, air intakes and ECU tuning for sports cars including Porsche, with development informed by dyno testing and road and track evaluation.

Fitment & Compatibility
| Years | Make | Model / chassis | Version / application | Fitment notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1997-1999 | Porsche | Boxster (986) | Early header version without integrated catalysts | Match transmission. Tiptronic requires coolant-line rerouting for clearance; retorque after heat cycling. |
| 2000-2004 | Porsche | Boxster / Boxster S (986) | Later HJS-catted header version | Tiptronic requires coolant-line rerouting. Retorque after heat cycling; catalyst competition restrictions apply. |
Match the exact model year and transmission. Tiptronic installations require modification/rerouting of the coolant line for header clearance. Retorque header fasteners after the first heat cycle. For catalyst-equipped versions, observe the manufacturer’s competition-use, non-CARB/non-EPA restrictions.
