Recalibrate the F8 ECU for the fuel and existing hardware specified for the car. This service requires bench programming, with vehicle information supplied before the control units are sent in. Fabspeed Motorsport, based in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, develops exhaust systems, air intakes and ECU tuning for sports cars including Porsche. Its development work uses dynamometer testing, road evaluation and racetrack testing.

- ECU removal and shipment are required for bench programming.
- Provide the completed vehicle-information form, intended fuel and installed hardware.
- Fabspeed retains the original software; stock restoration and later file revisions may involve a fee.
- Confirm the control-unit version and service arrangements before removing the ECU.
Use restrictions
The calibration must retain required emissions controls. Fabspeed excludes requests to disable emissions equipment or its monitoring.
