Fabspeed XperTune ECU Software for BMW M3 and M4 (F80 / F82 / F83)

Use the supported handheld process to prepare an S55 calibration for an F80 M3 or F82/F83 M4. Software eligibility depends on the actual ECU version as well as the chassis. Fabspeed Motorsport, based in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, develops exhaust systems, air intakes and ECU tuning for sports cars including Porsche. Its development work uses dynamometer testing, road evaluation and racetrack testing.

Technical Details

• Manufacturer product reference: FS.BMW.F8X.ET.
• Uses a handheld interface to read and write the supported ECU through the diagnostic port.
• A Windows PC is required for file transfer; macOS is not supported.
• Provide the original ECU read and completed vehicle-information form.
• The handheld pairs to one vehicle and permits restoring that vehicle’s saved original calibration.
• Confirm ECU accessibility before ordering; security updates can affect the programming method.

Use restrictions

The calibration must retain required emissions controls. Fabspeed excludes requests to disable emissions equipment or its monitoring.
