This year-specific harness follows the 1967 Beetle sedan and convertible electrical layout. EMPI supplies identified main and branch wiring with factory-style connectors, and the manual covers the original nine-prong turn-signal/emergency-flasher box. That relay setup is a meaningful difference from later systems and should be assessed before removing the old harness.
