This EMPI harness replaces the stock-layout wiring on a 1965 Beetle sedan or convertible. Designed around the 6V system, it can also be used in a 12V conversion when the vehicle's electrical components and charging connections are addressed correctly. The identified main and branch wires help trace the original circuits during a complete rewire.

Fitment & Compatibility
Verify the installed generator/alternator and regulator before starting. A harness alone does not convert lamps, switches, or other equipment to a different voltage. Photograph existing connections and inspect grommets and ground points before pulling the old loom from the body.
