This innovative EMPI design incorporates a 28mm convex lifter face, precisely engineered to match the unique lobe taper found on EMPI GT and GT-V series camshafts. The advanced phosphate coating promotes excellent oil retention ("soak-up") and provides enhanced lubrication on the lifter face, resulting in superior wear resistance and a smooth, reliable break-in period.
Fully compatible with all aftermarket air-cooled VW camshafts in Type 1, Type 2 (pre-1971), and Type 3 engines.
