Product details

These EMPI lifters follow the camshaft lobes and transfer their motion into the pushrods of the air-cooled VW valvetrain. Heat-treated 4130 chromoly construction and a phosphate-treated face are paired with a 28mm convex contact surface. EMPI developed that face for the lobe taper of its GT and GT-V camshafts; cam and lifter compatibility remains an important engine-build decision.
