This reproduction tank uses the early dipstick-style fuel-level check and has no provision for a sender. It is stamped mild steel with TIG-welded joints and a black finish. The 80mm filler neck needs a cap, which is sold separately.

Fitment & Compatibility
For VW Beetle and Karmann Ghia from 1956–1960. Confirm the tank mounting, outlet, and filler setup before installation. Fuel cap is not included; EMPI identifies reference 111 201 551 C as compatible. Check the fuel connections and seals during replacement.
