For a classic VW retaining its 6-volt electrical system, this EMPI coil converts the switched primary current into the high voltage delivered through the distributor. A blue 55mm body houses the epoxy-filled winding assembly, allowing inverted installation without liquid filling to leak. The supplied mounting bracket uses OE-style bolt-hole spacing.

Fitment & Compatibility
