Crazy Deal of the Day: 914 Engine Bay Raintray

Crazy Deal of the Day! 914 Engine Bay Raintray

Somewhere along the California coast, circa 1973. The morning fog rolls in, the Pacific air turns cool, and a certain German sports car sits patiently beneath the eucalyptus trees. Its engineers, ever practical, had anticipated such moments. Enter the humble rain tray. Not particularly glamorous. Never the subject of a glossy advertisement. Yet quietly indispensable, keeping the elements where they belong and the engine compartment a little more civilized. This original Porsche 914 engine bay rain tray has survived the decades in remarkably excellent condition for its age. An increasingly uncommon find for the purist, the preservationist, or the gentleman who simply believes that every piece of a proper Porsche deserves its place. After all, it's the little things that separate a restoration from a resurrection.
