Product details

This chrome parking-brake handle replaces the floor-mounted lever assembly in the VW tunnel. It provides the driver's mechanical input to the parking-brake cables and renews the visible handle at the same time. The assembly is supplied with installation instructions; cable condition and adjustment should be checked as separate parts of the job.

Fitment & Compatibility

Fits Type 1 1956–1979, Karmann Ghia 1956–1974, and Thing 1973–1974. Confirm the lever mounting and cable attachment on the vehicle. This handle assembly does not replace the wheel-end brake mechanism or eliminate the need to adjust both parking-brake cables.
