Development includes evaluation on a dynamometer, on the road and at the racetrack.
Technical Details
- Manufacturer product reference: FS.BMW.F90.ET.
- For the 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 F90 M5.
- Read the original ECU file through the OBD port and send it with the vehicle information.
- A Windows PC is required for file transfer; macOS is not supported.
- The handheld pairs to one vehicle and supports returning that vehicle to its saved original file.
- Confirm ECU software/accessibility and installed hardware before arranging the calibration.
- June 2020 is an ECU-security changeover. Eligibility depends on the exact ECU build and programming access; the calendar month alone is not confirmation.
