Fabspeed XperTune ECU Software for Audi SQ8 Petrol V8

For the petrol V8 Audi SQ8, XperTune is a bench-programming service that requires the engine control unit to be removed and sent in. Eligibility depends on the June 2020 ECU-security cutoff; diesel SQ8s and later locked ECUs need separate verification. Fabspeed Motorsport, based in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, develops exhaust systems, air intakes and ECU tuning for sports cars including Porsche. Its development work uses dynamometer testing, road evaluation and racetrack testing.

Technical Details

• Manufacturer product reference: FS.AUD.SQ8.ECU.
• Supply the SQ8 VIN, ECU identifiers, intended fuel octane and a complete hardware list.
• Arrange the programming service before disconnecting or shipping control units.
• Calibration is matched to the original vehicle file; it is not a replacement ECU or a handheld interface.
• The original software is retained. Ask about charges for subsequent stock restoration or calibration changes.
• June 2020 is an ECU-security changeover. Eligibility depends on the exact ECU build and programming access; the calendar month alone is not confirmation.

Use restrictions

Required emissions equipment and monitoring must remain active. Requests to defeat these systems are excluded.
