Product details
Arrange XperTune bench programming for an eligible early Audi RS Q8 with the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8. The relevant cutoff is the vehicle production date up to the June 2020 ECU-security changeover, rather than an open-ended model-year claim. Send the ECU identifiers before planning removal and shipment. Fabspeed Motorsport, based in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, develops exhaust systems, air intakes and ECU tuning for sports cars including Porsche. Its development work uses dynamometer testing, road evaluation and racetrack testing.
Technical Details
- Manufacturer product reference: FS.AUD.RSQ8.ECU.
- Programming is performed on the removed control unit; this is a software service rather than replacement ECU hardware.
- Complete the vehicle-information form with intended fuel and all relevant modifications.
- Fabspeed retains a copy of the factory software. Subsequent restoration or recalibration may involve additional charges.
- Check later security revisions individually; production after the stated cutoff is not automatically eligible.
- June 2020 is an ECU-security changeover. Eligibility depends on the exact ECU build and programming access; the calendar month alone is not confirmation.
Use restrictions
The vehicle must retain required emissions systems and their monitoring. The service excludes requests to defeat these functions.
