The PMO Air Filter Gasket (PM-O137-0) fits between the air filter base plate and the top of a PMO Induction carburetor, sealing that joint so intake air has to pass through the filter element. EMPI states it fits all PMO carburetors. A torn, flattened, or missing gasket lets the engine draw unfiltered air and grit past the base plate and into the throats. PMO's 40mm, 46mm, and 50mm rebuild kits each include two, one per carburetor. This part is a single gasket.
PMO's air cleaner kits are built separately for PMO and Weber carburetors, with different water shield bases (PM-O300-2 for PMO and PM-O300-3 for Weber). The PMO-carburetor kits are the standard-height water shield kit (PM-O310-0), the short water shield kit (PM-O312-0), and the flat-top kit (PM-O311-0), and each comes with base gaskets. Short kits, with a 2.25 inch element, are meant for cars with air conditioning.

Fitment & Compatibility
Fits all PMO Induction carburetors (40mm, 46mm, and 50mm). For Weber IDA carburetors, use the gasket that matches your Weber air cleaner base.
Installation & Tuning Notes
Clean the carburetor top and base plate, lay the gasket on dry, and tighten the base plate fasteners evenly. At the next filter service, look inside the throats. Dust trails past the base plate point to a leak at this joint.
