The biggest of EMPI's transmission coolers is a 96 plate stack-plate unit rated at 25,000 BTU for vehicles up to 28,000 GVW. It measures 12 x 11 x 1½ inches.
The cooler has 1/2 inch female threaded ends fitted with 3/8 inch hose barbs. It suits any car with an automatic transmission where there is room for it, and it is the choice for towing.
