The .40 is the leanest idle jet made for EPC 34, 34 ICT, and the primary side of EPC 32/36, 32/36 DGV, EPC 38E, and 38 DGS carburetors. Choose it when an engine idles rich, with a sooty plug or a rough, loading-up idle that clears when revved. If idle turns lean after the swap, the next size up is the .45.
