What makes them the very best?
Made of EPDM rubber, this foam has the best resistance to fuel, brake fluid, water, sunlight, and oxidation of all the tail light seals offered. Why EPDM? there's a ton of fumes emanating off the back of your 914. Over the years the factory seals (and especially the cheap aftermarket alternatives) tend to dry, crack and lose their effectiveness.
This superior seal has closed-cell construction, which restricts water, air, and gases from being absorbed. These are the exact size and elasticity of the original but... they're much better! Why spend more when you can get the best for less?!?!
