914Rubber Lightweight Polycarbonate Rear Window for Porsche 914 (All Years)

PMB Performance, with 20 years of Porsche 914 expertise, is the top 914Rubber retailer, selling more SKUs than anyone. Our nearly two-decade partnership with 914Rubber ensures premium restoration parts. The 914Rubber Lightweight Polycarbonate Rear Window (Part #914RWPC) is a durable, weight-saving alternative to OEM glass for all Porsche 914 models (1970-76), ideal for performance builds or restorations.

Crafted from high-grade polycarbonate, this rear window offers 50% weight reduction compared to glass, enhancing handling and fuel efficiency. Its UV-resistant coating prevents yellowing, and the hardcoated surface resists scratches better than acrylic. The kit includes an 8 mm x 15' butyl cord and two glass setting blocks (Part #91454190710) for a secure, leak-proof install. It’s also compatible with Porsche 924, 928, 944, and 968 rear window frames.

Installation requires the 914Rubber kit, isopropyl alcohol, lint-free cloth, plastic trim tools, and gloves. Remove seats and back pad (unscrew base, slide down), clean the frame, and treat any rust. Press the butyl cord into the frame channel from the bottom center, overlapping ends 1/2 inch without stretching. Place blocks at the channel base. With a partner, align and press the polycarbonate window into the cord. Cure for 24 hours at 60-80°F, then test for leaks. Warm the cord if cold, and take care at corners to avoid twists. A 914 racer said, “This window dropped weight and held up to track abuse!”

Compatibility: Porsche 914 (1970-76), 924 (1976-85), 928 (1978-95), 944 (1982-91), 968 (1992-95).
Specs: Part #914RWPC, 8 mm x 15' butyl cord, 2 plastic blocks, polycarbonate material.
