We were tired of modifying coolers and modifying shrouds all to get perfect cooling for the bigger motors we were putting in these cars. We decided to develop a solution.
This cooler is a direct fit in the factory style shrouds on the market today. The mounting holes line up perfectly, the cutouts for the 30mm inlet and outlets line up perfectly. We've run these coolers on all of our 914-6 conversions from 2.5 to 3.6! Temps stay at 180-200 degrees. You "might" bump over 200 at the track.
The factory knew what they were doing gang. Your cooler belongs up front. With a front cooler in a factory style shroud, your big -4 or big -6 will have the coolest oil temps on the block. Take the step to protect that $15-30,000.00 engine investment. Keep it cool!
914-4 Cylinder cars "usually" run their lines down the right (perspective = sitting in the car) side of the car. The engine cooler and filter housing make this a more viable option. 914-6 cars and GT cars would run them down the left side of the car. Select your side from the drop down menu at the top.
