The clamp locks a distributor or magneto in place and has calibrated degree marks machined into it, so timing can be moved a known amount instead of guessed. Set the engine once with a timing light, mark the distributor at the 30-degree line, and adjust from there.
Machined in house from billet aluminum and anodized red. It fits standard-style distributors and magnetos.
