This is the hardline that runs from the caliper fluid inlet to the tab on the front strut. Marked #12 in the factory parts PDF. Check the line "Type" in the upper right hand corner.  Green coated steel is the original finish for all 914's through 1976. OM Steel is tin coated lines for a budget repair and Stainless Steel is the best value for those who never want to do this job again.
