wilwood-260-12384
Wilwood Side-Mount Compact Master Cylinder Kit, 5/8-inch Bore, 3.00-inch Mounting Centers

This five-eighths-inch Compact master uses integral side lugs instead of the usual end flange. Its reservoir kit provides a choice of direct or remote mounting, letting the installer keep the hydraulic cylinder close to the pedal in a confined installation. Wilwood Engineering's disc brake systems bring together calipers, rotors, valves, master cylinders, fittings and brake lines. Founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and based in Camarillo, California, the company designs and manufactures products for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. The installed system determines which individual component is appropriate.

Technical Details

Manufacturer part number: 260-12384

Material: Aluminum / Plastic

Cylinder bore: 5/8"

Pressure circuits: 1

Stroke Length: 1.12 in

Listed displacement per stroke: 0.34 cu in

Reservoir Type: Remote

Flange-to-end length: 3.37"

Overall Length: 8.84"

Mounting centers: 3.00 inches, side mount

Pushrod dimensions: 5.01" x 5/16-24

Finish: Black E-coat

Inlet arrangement: 0.87-inch seating diameter with 11/16-20 internal thread; this is the reservoir feed, not the pressure outlet

Pressure connection: 1/8-27 NPT outlet; select the appropriate pressure-line adapter

Reservoir package: 4.5 and 10 oz plastic reservoir bodies, cap, remote hose, adapters, clamps and bracket hardware

Fluid selection: DOT 3, DOT 4 or DOT 5.1 for racing/performance use; DOT 5 silicone is not recommended for those uses

Fitment & Compatibility

Check the 3.00-inch side-mount spacing, pushrod alignment and full 1.12-inch stroke.
