wilwood-140-18365-d
Wilwood 12.19-inch Front Brake System for Roadster Shop Mustang II Spindles — Drilled/Slotted Rotors, Black Dynapro 6

The drilled/slotted version of this Dynapro 6 kit uses black six-piston calipers and 12.19-inch iron rotors. Its SRP discs have 32 straight vanes and mount through aluminum hats to the retained Roadster Shop hubs. Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines. Bill Wood founded the company in 1977; it is based in Camarillo, California, and serves motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications.

Fitment & Compatibility

For the Roadster Shop Mustang II front upright, using the five-on-4.75-inch hub arrangement specified by Wilwood. This Dynapro 6 package uses 12.19-inch rotor assemblies, so match its wheel diagram rather than a different Roadster Shop brake option. Verify the steering-arm bracket installation and use the register adapters and shims for alignment. The original Ford vehicle name or year does not establish compatibility with this custom spindle. No hubs, spindles or flexlines are supplied; select hoses that remain clear and slack enough across steering and suspension travel. Nominal minimum wheel diameter: 15 in; 381 mm. The linked wheel-clearance diagram must confirm barrel and spoke clearance; wheel diameter alone does not guarantee fit.

Technical Details

Calipers and pads

Calipers: Dynapro 6; 6 pistons

Caliper finish: Black Powder Coat

Body construction: Forged aluminum

Pistons: stainless

Mounting: lug

Hydraulic inlet: 1/8-27 NPT

Included pad compound: BP-10

Listed piston bore sizes: 1.62 / 1.38 / 1.38 in

Rotors and mounting dimensions

Rotors: 12.19 in; 309.63 mm diameter x 0.81 in; 20.57 mm thick; vented Iron

Friction faces: SRP Drilled & Slotted

Rotor coating/finish: Black Electro Coat

Internal vanes: 32 straight

Hats: Aluminum; Black E-Coat; 1.770-inch hat offset

Rotor/hat wheel-stud clearance patterns: 5 X 4.5 in; 5 X 114.3 mm; 5 X 4.75 in; 5 X 120.65 mm; 5 X 5 in; 5 X 127 mm

Kit contents and separate parts

Manufacturer part number: 140-18365-D

Supply: one brake kit; components for both sides of the axle

Mounting hardware: included

Hubs: not included

Spindles, master cylinder and brake booster: not included

Brake flexlines: not included

Installation documents

Installation instructions

WARNING: This product can expose you to chemicals including Arsenic, Cadmium, Chromium (Hexavalent compounds), Lead, Nickel, Cobalt and Antimony Trioxide which are known to the State of California to cause cancer or other reproductive harm.
