wilwood-140-18253
Wilwood 14.00-inch GT Slotted Brake Kit — Black FNSL6R for 1995–1998 Nissan Skyline R33, Front

The black FNSL6R assembly for the R33 Skyline uses 14-inch GT slotted rotors and 4.86-square-inch effective caliper piston area. Its 72-vane, 1.25-inch-thick discs mount to the original hubs through aluminum hats, and braided flexlines are included. Bill Wood established Wilwood Engineering in 1977. From Camarillo, California, the company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines, for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications.

Technical Details

Kit contents and separate parts

Manufacturer part number: 140-18253

Supply: one brake kit; components for both sides of the axle

Mounting hardware: included

Hubs: not included

Spindles, master cylinder and brake booster: not included

Brake flexlines: included; DOT-compliant hoses

Fitment & Compatibility

The 14-inch FNSL6R package retains the front hubs of the specified 1995–1998 Skyline R33. Verify the hub register, stud clearance and wheel envelope before installing the two-piece rotor assemblies. The guide calls for dust-shield trimming and careful alignment of the radial caliper brackets. Included braided hoses connect the calipers to the vehicle; support them so they cannot rub the tires or become tight at full travel. This R33 configuration uses the piston sizes and mounting hardware listed above, so selection should follow the exact kit guide rather than rotor diameter alone. Nominal minimum wheel diameter: 18 in; 457.2 mm. The linked wheel-clearance diagram must confirm barrel and spoke clearance; wheel diameter alone does not guarantee fit.

Rotors and mounting dimensions

Rotors: 14.00 in; 355.6 mm diameter x 1.25 in; 31.75 mm thick; vented Spec-37 Iron

Friction faces: GT Slotted

Rotor coating/finish: Black Electro Coat

Internal vanes: 72 curved

Hats: Aluminum; Black E-Coat; 0.595-inch hat offset

Rotor/hat wheel-stud clearance patterns: 4 x 4.5 in; 4 x 114.3 mm; 5 x 4.5 in; 5 x 114.3 mm

Calipers and pads

Calipers: FNSL6R; 6 pistons

Caliper finish: Black Powder Coat

Body construction: Forged aluminum

Pistons: stainless

Mounting: radial

Hydraulic inlet: 1/8-27 NPT

Included pad compound: BP-20

Listed piston bore sizes: 1.75 / 1.25 / 1.25 in

Installation documents

Installation instructions

WARNING: This product can expose you to chemicals including Arsenic, Cadmium, Chromium (Hexavalent compounds), Lead, Nickel, Cobalt and Antimony Trioxide which are known to the State of California to cause cancer or other reproductive harm.
