Founded in 1977 by Bill Wood, the company produces calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines. Component selection depends on the requirements of the complete braking system.

Technical Details

Hardware provision: Included; verify the installed fastener engagement

Not included: spindles, wheel hubs, master cylinder or brake booster

Manufacturer identification: 140-17668-BK

Application and supplied quantity: rear conversion kit; Sold as a kit.

Hydraulic service-caliper specification: DPC56; 4 pistons per caliper; Black Powder Coat

Caliper attachment: Lug

Brake pads supplied: BP-10

Piston type: Stainless

Service-caliper port: M10 x 1.00

Rotors: 12.00-inch rear rotor package retained; rotors are not included

Wheel envelope: 17 in; the complete wheel-clearance drawing determines fit

Hydraulic hose selection: Included; confirm correct routing and hard-line connection

Fitment & Compatibility

This rear conversion is for 2005–2013 Chevrolet Corvette C6 Base models. Retain serviceable rotors of the specified factory diameter and thickness; this caliper kit does not supply replacement rotors. Wilwood has checked these calipers with Z06 wheels; that wheel-clearance statement does not make a C6 Z06 brake package compatible. Other factory and aftermarket wheels require the drawing check, and some applications may need spacers. Route the supplied flexlines clear of steering, suspension and rotating parts. Use the fitment table below to confirm the individual model, year, submodel and brake-option restrictions.

Wilwood product specifications · Wilwood installation and compatibility information · Wilwood installation and compatibility information

PMB Performance brings over 20 years of parts and fitment experience to component selection.
