wilwood-140-17667-r
Wilwood Red Four-Piston SLC56 Front Caliper and Pad Set with Flexlines for Chevrolet Corvette C6 Base (2005–2013)

For Corvette C6 Base front brakes, this red SLC56 package includes pads and hoses rather than rotors. Check the factory rotor and wheel shape. This package replaces the calipers and pads while retaining the specified original-size rotor arrangement. The manufacturer is Wilwood Engineering, founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and based in Camarillo, California. Wilwood designs and manufactures disc brake systems along with calipers, rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines. Motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications each call for components matched to the overall braking arrangement.

Technical Details

Manufacturer part number: 140-17667-R

Brake assembly: front conversion kit; Sold as a kit.

Calipers: SLC56; 4 pistons per caliper; Red Powder Coat

Caliper mounting: Lug

Included pad compound: BP-10

Piston material: Stainless

Hydraulic caliper inlet: M10 x 1.00

Rotors: 12.80-inch front rotor package retained; rotors are not included

Wheel-size reference: 17 in; the complete wheel-clearance drawing determines fit

Hydraulic flexlines: Included; confirm correct routing and hard-line connection

Mounting hardware: Included; verify the installed fastener engagement

Not included: spindles, wheel hubs, master cylinder or brake booster

Fitment & Compatibility

This front conversion is for 2005–2013 Chevrolet Corvette C6 Base models. Retain serviceable rotors of the specified factory diameter and thickness; this caliper kit does not supply replacement rotors. Wilwood has checked these calipers with Z06 wheels; that wheel-clearance statement does not make a C6 Z06 brake package compatible. Other factory and aftermarket wheels require the drawing check, and some applications may need spacers. Route the supplied flexlines clear of steering, suspension and rotating parts. Use the fitment table below to confirm the individual model, year, submodel and brake-option restrictions.

Wilwood product specifications · Wilwood installation and compatibility information · Wilwood installation and compatibility information

For help matching the brake assembly, contact PMB Performance with the VIN, original brake package, axle position and wheel-clearance measurements.
