Its wheel interface is the current modified 5 x 5-inch hub specification, with separate brake lines required for the vehicle. Wilwood Engineering, established by Bill Wood in 1977 and based today in Camarillo, California, manufactures and designs disc brake systems and their components. The product range covers brake rotors, calipers, valves, master cylinders, brake lines and fittings for motorsport, specialized and street-performance applications. Suitability depends on matching each component to the entire brake system.

Technical Details

Manufacturer part number — 140-15155-DR.

Wheel-stud thread — 1/2-20.

Wheel bolt circle — 5 x 5 in; 5 x 127 mm.

Supplied pad compound — BP-10.

Caliper color, finish and hydraulic inlet — Red; Red Powder Coat; inlet 1/8-27 NPT.

Service caliper assembly — Superlite 6R; 6 pistons in each caliper; Stainless pistons; Forged Aluminium body; Radial mounting.

Rotor construction and friction surface — Spec-37 Iron; Vented; SRP Drilled & Slotted; surface finish: Black Electro Coat.

Rotor dimensions — outside diameter 12.88 in; 327.15 mm; thickness 1.10 in; 27.94 mm.

Brake function and supply — Front Brake Kits - Street Performance; Disc braking; front axle; Sold as a kit.

Current hub wheel interface — modified aluminum hub 270-10658 is specified for 5 x 5.00-inch wheels; hat mounting patterns are separate interfaces.

Hydraulic package contents — brake lines included: No; master cylinder included: No; booster included: No.

Mechanical package contents — separate hubs included; mounting hardware included: Yes; spindles included: No.

Stated OE wheel-hub offset — +.68 in; verify the documented spindle and reference geometry.

Rotor mounting hat — aluminum; Black E-Coat; hat offset 1.880 in.

Nominal minimum wheel diameter — 17 in; 431.8 mm; verify full spoke and barrel clearance using the kit drawing.

Fitment & Compatibility

Check the specific Wilwood ProSpindle layout before ordering.
