wilwood-140-10789
Wilwood Front D8-4 Caliper/Pad/Flex-Line Kit for Chevrolet Corvette C2/C3 (1965–1982), Anodized

This Wilwood D8-4 package replaces the Corvette's front calipers, pads and flex lines while retaining the original rotor, hub and spindle arrangement. Anodized four-piston calipers use 1.88-inch bores and the specified ProMatrix pads. It is a caliper service package rather than a larger-rotor conversion kit. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings, and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance, and specialized applications.

Technical Details

Manufacturer part number: 140-10789

Type: D8-4 Front Replacement Caliper Kit

Calipers: D8-4; 4 pistons; Type III Anodize.

Bores: 1.88, 1.88 inches. DS650 states that the original rubber hoses cannot be adapted to these calipers; use the included braided flex lines and fittings. The stock master cylinder can operate the kit, subject to system condition and brake-bias evaluation.
