The caliper includes parking pads and a mounting bracket, with a nominal 0.81-inch rotor-width channel. Bill Wood established Wilwood Engineering in 1977. Based in Camarillo, California, the company designs and manufactures disc brake systems, from calipers and brake rotors to master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance and specialized use.

Technical Details

Manufacturer part number: 120-12070-BK. Component: MC4 Mechanical caliper.

Supply: one MC4 parking caliper with its mounting bracket and parking pads; the pads’ exact friction compound should be confirmed if a particular material is required.

Hydraulic connection: none; the caliper is operated by a parking-brake cable.

Bracket interface: 4.75-inch floating centers with 0.67-inch holes; orientation: left hand.

Pad fit is type 6407. Match the pad dimensions and compound to the rotor and intended braking conditions.

Caliper weight: approximately 3.3 lb.

Piston dust boots: included.

Nominal rotor width 0.81 inch; compatible outside diameter from 11.00 through 14.00 inches. Specified rotor-width limits: 0.70–0.81 inch.

Construction and surface: cast aluminum housing finished in Black powder coat.

Bore configuration 1.19 inches across 1 piston; piston material: aluminum. The actuation is mechanical, not hydraulic.

Fitment & Compatibility

Keep the left-hand cable arrangement and verify the bracket's 4.75-inch centers. This is a parking caliper; it needs correct lever travel and wear adjustment, not a hydraulic hose connection.

With 20+ years of experience, PMB Performance can help compare the actual brake hardware. Supply the caliper number, rotor dimensions and mounting measurements when asking about compatibility.
